Miami Heat still a Team

http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/03/08/2103020/miami-heat-still-positive-despite.html
The website posted above is an article about the Miami Heat, one of the best teams in the NBA Eastern Conference, still being positive despite a four game losing streak and a 1/9 win ratio against team's with the league's five best records. “We’re a team that no one wants to see in the first round, no matter if we lose every game from here on out,” Dwyane Wade said after Heat players shot free throws (with team president Pat Riley observing) and watched film. “We’re fine. This is going to toughen us and strengthen us for this year, for next year, for the year after that.

How this article relates to COM320 is that the Miami Heat is a team. A team is a coordinated group of individuals organized to work together to achieve a specific, common goal. No matter what the outcome of the game, win or lose, the Heat worked together. They are a basketball team that share a common purpose, communicate together, and exert influence on one another. “We stay together,” James responded. “Spo is captain of the ship. We’re going to stay behind whatever Spo says.”
