Our upcoming SLP project that we have planned as a group has proven to be challenging in many ways. However, it has greatly increased the relationships amongst myself and fellow group members already.
The most important aspect to assure that this project will run smoothly is confirming that we are all on task and on the same page. There are so many things that feed into the assignment that must be done right the first time. For instance, it is important that we give both the dormatory and the animal shelter a date that they can both agree on. This can be very difficult with both of these being ran as companies and having their own schedules throughout the week. Another important part is making sure that both parties are clear on exactly what we intend to do and how it will benefit both of them in different ways. It help gets the dormatory's name out on campus and it gives the animal shelter more public attention and donations, which really help considering it is a non-profit organization.
All in all, our SLP project is fitting together very well. Work is still being done to work out all of the knots that may arise throughout the process. I thoroughly look forward to the presentation and the opportunities this project has to offer to my group and the organizations we are representing.
